Venice from the Rialto Bridge

I was pleased with the light I got in this work. The light in Venice was like this on our trip in March. The distant light was watery and gentle, and the near hustle and bustle  had strong light and contrast.

I keep referring in my blogs to John Yardley's quote "If you see a jumble, paint a jumble", but it is so true here for the hustle and bustle of the canal side.
